FAQ
Does a car wrap chip or scratch easily?
A quality wrap copes well with everyday wear, UV and light surface marks, and it keeps the original paint clean underneath. It isn't built to take hard impacts, so a stone chip or a sharp scratch can cut or mark the film, and that panel may need re-doing. If your main concern is stone chips on the front end, paint protection film (PPF) is the better product, and some customers combine both. Our vinyl wrap vs PPF guide explains the difference.
