FAQ
Is car wrapping legal in Australia?
Yes, vinyl wrapping a car is legal in Australia. Rules vary by state, so check with your state road authority (Service NSW in New South Wales), but in general a significant colour change should be recorded on your registration, and you should tell your insurer about the modification so your policy stays valid. Wraps go on the body panels, and lights, windscreens and front side windows have their own rules, so those are left alone. If you're unsure about your situation, ask us when you get a quote and check with your insurer before the work is booked in.
